The paper within, a yellowish color from age, contain various stories from his Druidic Pilgrimage, on many of them there are drawings of plants and small star patterns in both the margins of the pages and full pages. In this entry, he describes an afternoon in the City of Arrel where he and most of the travelling companions he was with encountered the High Arch-Druid of the Circle of Stars at the time, Tre'Lunn.*

Our lunch with Flest was relatively uneventful, though Saxon did not join us likely due to their appointment that morning running long (I hope they remembered to hydrate). The food was delicious which should be expected with how pricey it was. We mostly discussed the our trip to the street market and our travel plans. Flest informed us that he had more business meetings and we wouldn't be needed so let us continue to have the day to ourselves. After lunch we decided we would go back to the market and get the addresses of the local authors for the books we purchased.

However, our journey to the market was stalled by a surprising development, High Arch-Druid Tre'Lunn was in town. This surprised me of course as I never expected such an encounter with how much she is most likely dealing with, I was almost too shocked to talk with her, but the group pushed me over and I had a pleasant conversation with her when I wasn't stumbling through my words.

The group teased me about this of course, but I hadn't seen her since my sendoff ceremony into the world when she opened a tree and sent me to where I divined my Pilgrimage to begin. I can hear Tutor Herar and Tutor Brenay's words in the back of my head now telling me to breathe and calm myself, but those words were nowhere to be found in the moment. During the conversation, I learned the Giant we encountered earlier this month made it Vrin and was sent to their home. The bird I sent the message with has settled in the town so maybe one day we can get their children there (if only to have that stain off of me, but if we're honest Saxon will never let me live that down).

I gave Tre'Lunn a swift run down of our adventurers, the cult trying to remove magic, the goose that came from space, the dreams of stars going out, Haeven's current status as a mass grave of undead. It was a lot, I was flustered, she clearly had places to be, so she in her grace and patience allowed me to catch my breath and told me meet her in Vaerithal once we get there and we could properly talk. She also told me while many dreams have meaning, not all are prophetic. I'm sure that's true, but those dreams felt different in a way words cannot properly convey.

Afterwards we said our farewells and I felt like an embarrassment, but now I had some time to prepare and properly organize my thoughts for our next meeting. With that ( and further teasing from the Slaugh), we pressed on towards the street market, got the addresses of those authors.

The first author was the one of the Seventh Tower and she seemed fairly forgetful in her old age, only knowing what she does due to visions she received in her dreams. Once we determined not much was of use (and she fell asleep), we excused ourselves and went to the second author. She apparently has too many fans and almost refused to see us till we mentioned that damned Ruby.

She revealed to us that she inherited a similar gemstone from family and revealed it to us, looking at it within the small secret cubby it resided in, we were pretty sure something was inside. After okaying it with her, I cast a Dispel Magic spell on the gem, forcing out the undead family member inside…..

}
