Using this object, the party made their way into a new room. It appeared to be large but overall relatively nice. They searched the room, coming out of it with a few books (including one that is magically sealed with a powerful locking spell), a magical rapier and ring, as well as an old antique astrolabe and a gilded writing set.

The party discussed going to the anti-magic field to force open the book, but as the entered the large natural cavern again, some of their number began to hear the chittering of creatures beyond their sight (likely Cleftborn) and a large tower suddenly appeared in the center of the room before them. More terrified by whatever creeps in the dark than the mysterious tower, they all ran into it seeking shelter. Once they did, they could feel the space outside the tower change from the depths of the caves that make up Old Haeven to some grassy plains beneath the open sky.

Shortly, some amphibious looking creatures the party recognized as Bullywogs. Although communication was impossible at first, Xedran used their magic to establish a telepathic link allowing for communication. They then brought the party up to their chiefs on the floor just below the roof. With the pair that are connected to them translating, the party learned that this group of Bullywogs have lived in this tower for generations, at the mercy of the tower's seeming random teleporting across the lands of Aerethia. Cassian was shown the roof of the building to see if he can determine the kinds of arcana at work.

When he got to the top of the tower, he noticed a few mirrors (all but one seemingly clouded) as well as a larger Bullwog apparently taking care of a dead or dying Bullywog in the center. Cass moved around the creature to the functioning mirror as it started to make its way down below. As the rest of the party asked the Bullywogs various questions about the them and the tower, Cass investigate the intact mirror, realizing beyond it was a raised view of Destra off in the distance and the word "Seraph" written before it. As he was examining the roof, the world beyond the tower shifted in a psychedelic kaleidoscope, the green rolling hills replaced with a swamp some unknown distance away.

Meanwhile, the Bullwogs gave Saxon a brew that helped delay the effects of the the Disease that runs through their veins. Eventually Cassian calls on them to assist in investigating the mirror to Destra....
}
